Security Sensor

The security sensor is an essential part of any home security system. These are the triggering mechanisms that security procedures in motion. Without them, most security systems would be basically useless.

A security sensor can come in a variety of different designs, with different functions for each. Magnetic contacts are the most common, and are used for monitoring the doors and windows. Motion detectors are used to monitor any movement in the home while the residents are away.

A photoelectric beam is often used as an outdoor security sensor. They can be positioned to create an invisible barrier around your home. When someone crosses the beam it signals the alarm system ensuring that you’ll always know when someone is approaching your home.
